“Keep showing up” has been the theme of my career. I didn’t grow up with much talent. I wasn’t meant to be the best triathlete. But I kept showing up everyday in training no matter the conditions or how I felt. I kept showing up to the races no matter how many times I failed. It took me 41x 70.3 attempts to win my first half this year. And I’ll keep showing up until I win my first Ironman. And whatever the next big goal is after that, I’ll keep showing up.
